Houston, TX — September 14, 2011 — Bradmark Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of application solutions for database management, announced today the release of Surveillance DB™ for Sybase® Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) version 15.7. With support for SAP® ERP, which is the first SAP Business Suite application running on Sybase ASE, Surveillance DB™ represents Bradmark's continued commitment to customers who run some of the world's most critical data on the Sybase platform. The monitoring and event management solution enables companies to cost-effectively maintain exceptional performance and reliability.

"Bradmark's support of Sybase ASE 15.7 for use with SAP Business Suite demonstrates the strength of the long-time relationship between Bradmark and Sybase," said Brian Vink, vice president, Database Products, Sybase. "Bradmark's long-term committed roadmap provides a proven, proactive infrastructure management solution that is beneficial to both Sybase and SAP customers. The combination of Sybase ASE 15.7 with Bradmark's best-of-breed Surveillance DB toolset creates an unprecedented offering for customers that want highly available, high-performing database management systems, whether for use with SAP solutions or custom-built applications."

Bradmark's Surveillance DB monitoring and event management solution enables IT organizations to maximize overall system efficiency by reducing the time to identify and resolve database issues and tracking departmental usage. By utilizing essential tools for real-time monitoring, issue identification and resolution, rules-based event management, data repository and reporting, Surveillance DB quickly detects and resolves problems before a crisis can affect availability. The flexible architecture of Surveillance DB is agent-based, allowing for n+1 scalability to an unlimited number of servers. Surveillance DB also monitors the server and operating system to ensure data integrity.

" Other 'tools' I have used have not been able to provide real-time diagnostics," said Wendy Perry, lead database administrator for Central Vermont Public Services. "With Bradmark's solution we have been able to quickly understand performance issues and resolve them in order to keep pace with critical project timelines."

A strategic alliance Sybase partner since 2005, Bradmark is a Sybase-recommended choice for top-tier infrastructure management, providing a comprehensive, cross-functional toolset across the entire Sybase product stack. With support for Sybase ASE, ASE Cluster Edition, Replication Server, Sybase IQ and Mirror Activator investments as well as Microsoft, Oracle and IBM databases that run on UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems, Surveillance provides a single, integrated offering for DBAs to manage multi-database, multi-OS system enterprises from a single source.

" Mission-critical database systems have to meet tough challenges in performance, availability and efficiency, while maintaining low operational costs," said Brad Tashenberg, CEO, Bradmark Technologies, Inc. "By working closely together with Sybase, Bradmark will continue its focus on providing best-in-class technology for infrastructure management so joint customers will gain unprecedented value from our Sybase partnership."

Bradmark will present a data management breakout session at the TechWave 2011 conference, co-located with the SAP TechEd 2011 conference being held Sept. 12-16 at the Venetian Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. Bradmark was selected to present a technical breakout session as part of TechWave's featured conference tracks (DMASE331) on data management titled "Secrets of SQL Monitoring with MDA in ASE 15.0.3 and Beyond". This session will discuss what various SQL, RPCs, stored procedures, and batches look like in the MDA tables and how to calculate their metrics in Sybase ASE 15.0.3 and later. The impact from other Sybase ASE features, such as statement cache and Cluster Edition, will also be explored. Bradmark will summarize MDA data for batches, RPCs, and stored procedures. Related issues about pipe sizing, monitoring performance, and more will be covered.
