Chairman of the Board
As Chairman of the Board, Mr. Capelli is primarily responsible leading the board meetings and for developing the vision and strategy of the company in partnership with Brad Tashenberg and the other board members.
As the former President of Sybase’s World Field Operations, Mr. Capelli led Sybase to be one of the most widely recognized database companies in the financial, healthcare and government sectors, and a leader in mobility solutions. Responsible for revenue growth and market leadership, Mr. Capelli led global teams focused on direct and partner sales, including ISVs, OEMs, distributors and reseller channels. Prior to SAP’s purchase of Sybase in 2010, the Sybase grew by more than 9X during the course of Mr. Capelli’s 15 year tenure, creating $5.0 billion dollars in shareholder equity.
Before joining Sybase, Mr. Capelli spent five years at Siemens-Pyramid, where he held a variety of positions, including Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Inter-continental Sales and Director of Field Operations. He has also worked in finance and operations at Digital Equipment Corp., Unisys, and W.R. Grace & Company. Mr. Capelli holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a B.S. in Accounting from The College of New Jersey.
C. Bradley Tashenberg
President and CEO
Leading the company vision and product strategy over the past 35 years, Mr. Tashenberg is the cornerstone to maintaining Bradmark's status as a leading software provider.
After founding Bradmark in 1981, he developed its flagship product, DBGeneral, into one of the leading database utilities in the Hewlett-Packard 3000 Market. A long standing corporate citizen within the Houston IT business community Mr. Tashenberg has fostered many computer software products and has received numerous awards for technical speaking.
Mr. Tashenberg received a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1968, and later pursued a Masters of Science in Economics. He was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study Classical languages and was accepted into a PhD program in Advanced Mathematics in 1969. Mr. Tashenberg has also authored two books that were published through the American Management Association. Through his humanitiarian efforts, he has helped sponsor several scholarships within the IT user community and has made sizeable contributions to many art and music organizations.
As a board member, Mr. Okhandiar is primarily responsible for Corporate Development including Bradmark M&A.
Mr. Okhandiar is the President and Chief Executive Office of mLogica, Inc., Mr. Okhandiar has over 20 years of experience in managing technology businesses. Previously, as director of strategic services at Sybase, he was responsible for managing competency centers, operations, and budget of the worldwide professional services business. During his eight-year tenure at Sybase, he managed North America Professional Services delivery, advised Sybase executives on mergers and acquisitions, as well as strategic investments.
Mr. Okhandiar also worked in management roles and has led practices at Tandem Computers (now Hewlett Packard) for worldwide Data Warehousing practice, and Sequent Computers (now IBM) for their Western States in enterprise architecture planning, decision support, and Oracle ERP competencies. He has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. Mr. Okhandiar received certificate of special congressional recognition for the outstanding entrepreneurial skills and community service by the Congress of the United States, House of Representatives in 2006. He has also received commendation and certificate of recognition/appreciation by the Sheriff of Los Angeles County, Speaker of the Assembly of California Legislature Assembly and by the Supervisor of the County of Los Angeles among other agencies.
Aurelio (Butch) Madrazo
Mr. Madrazo has some 40-plus years of wide-ranging and diversified worldwide experience at the Chairman, CEO, President, Director and Engineering levels in a number of energy related companies, as well as international consulting and entrepreneurial expertise in areas unrelated to energy.
As an Advisor Member and former President and Chairman of The Silver Fox Advisors, an organization of former CEOs, Presidents, Senior Executives and Entrepreneur Business Owners, Mr. Madrazo offers years of experience and provides practical and proven in-depth strategies and solutions to his client companies for a wide range of business challenges and problems.
James R. (J.R.) Hunter has served as an executive in the information technology industry for most of his career. He has worked in sales and marketing for IBM, Decimus Corporation (a subsidiary of the General Electric Corporation) and BMC Software. At BMC Software, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing and was responsible for opening and managing several international offices as well as BMC’s external distribution network. Most recently, he served as an investor and the Chief Operation Officer of EC Power. EC Power was a provider of transaction management services to the energy industry. Mr. Hunter was instrumental in developing the business model of the company which was subsequently sold in 2008.
Mr. Hunter is currently semi-retired and an independent private investor. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma State University.
H.L. "Hank" Rush Jr.
H.L. "Hank" Rush Jr., has served as a senior information technology executive in 3 Fortune 500 companies and built two start-up organizations in his 30+ year career, all in Houston, Texas. His service has focused in energy, technology, and real estate. He has served as CEO or Chairman of the Board of three organizations over a 20 year span, ranging from information technology development and outsourcing, to construction, to real estate information services.
In 2008, Mr. Rush was appointed to serve as the President and CEO of The Star of Hope Mission, Houston's 102 year old mission to Houston's homeless. This role answers a life-long desire to serve in full-time ministry while utilizing the business skills developed in his professional life.
Jack Webb, Businessman, lawyer, geologist, mediator, lobbyist, farmer, diplomat, soldier, and political advisor, Mr. Jack Webb currently serves as Chairman of Jack M. Webb & Associates, Inc., Member of the Board of Techxas Ventures, Houston National Bank, Charter Bank - Houston, Texas Aerospace Commission, American Leadership Forum, Boy Scouts of America, Council for National Policy, and many other private and civic organizations. He has been CEO of over 32 corporations, holds a JD in Law from Tulane University, was General Council to Gulf Resources & Chemical Corp, M.W. Kellogg Company and Standard Oil of Texas, and has been U.S. Special Ambassador to Finland, Bolivia, Angola and Ghana.
