TechWave 2011 conference, co-located with the SAP TechEd
2011 conference being held Sept. 12-16 at the Venetian
Palazzo Congress Center in Las Vegas. Bradmark was selected
to present a technical breakout session as part of TechWaves
featured conference tracks (DMASE331) on data management
titled Secrets of SQL Monitoring with MDA in ASE
15.0.3 and Beyond. This session will discuss what
various SQL, RPCs, stored procedures, and batches look
like in the MDA tables and how to calculate their metrics
in Sybase ASE 15.0.3 and later. The impact from other
Sybase ASE features, such as statement cache and Cluster
Edition, will also be explored. Bradmark will summarize
MDA data for batches, RPCs, and stored procedures. Related
issues about pipe sizing, monitoring performance, and
more will be covered.
