Certifies Bradmark's Online Reorg Tool
HOUSTON — May
25, 2004 - Bradmark Technologies, Inc. an established provider
of enterprise monitoring and database administration tools, announces
the positive results of SAP's integration assessment of NORAD DBControl
Online for Oracle performed by SAP's
ICC-Lab in Waldorf. According to the Waldorf Lab, "SAP
is satisfied that NORAD DBControl Online met the test requirements
and poses no risk to SAP customers."
"This is only the second online reorg tool to be certified by SAP," said
John Mitchell, Vice President Sales and marketing at Bradmark, to 5 Minute Briefing
in an exclusive interview. "We will be aggressively marketing this to the
SAP installed base." Moreover, Mitchell added, Bradmark's online reorg tool
is the only one to be both certified by SAP and to use approved Oracle technology
to manage the redo logs.
DBControl Online provides uninterrupted data availability while performing
data reorganization and partition management of SAP-Oracle databases, maximizing
availability, performance and reliability of the SAP R/3 environment. Reorganizations
are performed on SAP-Oracle databases to reclaim fragmented or wasted space
and increase the speed of data access, while improving availability by optimizing
database layout. "Everybody is getting squeezed into real time and letting
their customers and partners into their production databases," Mitchell
noted. "There is no time to take the databases online." According
to Mitchell, this announcement is the first in what he anticipates will be
an increasingly close relationship between Bradmark and SAP.
